Change in football live schedule for final 2 weeks

We have updated our live football broadcast schedule for the last 2 regular season games - we flipped the live & recorded games. This week's live game is Grayson County at Narrows on October 31 (record Giles-Floyd) & next week's live game will be Glenvar at Giles on November 7 (record Narrows-Graham).

As always, the recorded games will be aired on the following Saturday at 10 AM following Speaking of Sports & the live game will then be replayed.

61 years & counting!

On August 24 WNRV celebrated the 61st anniversary of our original FCC license.

Still broadcasting from the same cozy building on Route 100 along the New River, we're raring to go for another 61 years!

WNRV now on PemTel channel 2

You can now catch all the great music and local sports action on WNRV by listening to PemTel channel 2!

WNRV is now the audio for channel 2, so PemTel cable customers can listen to WNRV around the clock on channel 2, in addition to on the air & the llve stream.

2014 Mountain Music Shows now up to date

Schedule for playing 2014 Henry Reed Fiddlers Convention recordings

We recorded all the great music at the 12th Annual Henry Reed Memorial Fiddlers Convention last weekend at the Newport Recreation Center in Newport. We brought you about 8 hours of it live & will be playing our recordings over the new few weeks on the Mountain Music Show & New River Valley Jamboree.

Here is the first part of the schedule, I'll update it as we go along:
