New Shows

We're kicking off the new year with some new shows!

Starting this week, we've added Del McCoury's Blue Side of Town on Wednesday at 1 PM.

On the second Wednesday of each month, we'll have the Bluegrass Unlimited Top 30 Countdown with Lee Michael Dempsey from 10 AM - noon. We'll continue to have Tom Henderson & Terry Herd on the other Wednesdays.

Basketball Schedule for Week of 1/9/12

This week we'll have 2 live games, with 2 others recorded for replay on Saturday:

Live:
Jan 9: Giles-Graham girls
Jan 10: Narrows-Graham boys

Replay:
Jan 11: Narrows-Graham girls
Jan 11: Giles-Floyd County boys

Tipoff for the live games is usually 7:15-7:30 PM, depending on when the preceding JV game ends. The other games are replayed starting at 10 AM on Saturday following our Speaking of Sports show (which airs from 9-10 AM).

Tune in at AM 990 or our live stream for all the exciting basketball action.

2011 Christmas Parades

We're having a blast again this year participating in all the local Christmas parades. Here is the schedule, keep your eyes peeled for the WNRV float (& listen for our Christmas music)!

Dec 1: Rich Creek (7 PM)
Dec 3: Ballard (noon) & Pembroke (5 PM)
Dec 4: Pearisburg (4 PM)
Dec 6: Peterstown (7 PM)
Dec 8: Narrows (7 PM)

Watermelon Park Fest 2011

I'll be out at Watermelon Park Fest in Berryville, VA again this year on Sept 22-24 (this'll be 5 years in a row).
