Hokies hot despite snow

The men beat Charleston Southern 73 to 50. How many times can you go to a basketball game for free. This is what Jim Weaver decided to do today since the weather was so bad outside. The women beat Alabama Birmingham 66 to 64 in overtime in the St. Johns tounament.

So far so good for non-conference

The Hokies have been more consistent in the first part of the schedule than previous years (though they have not exactly blown out the teams that they should have dominated). The wins over Penn St & Georgia were big for their confidence. The ACC schedule starts on Jan 10th when they travel to UNC, that's when we'll start to see what they really have. Hopefully Santa will bring Jeff Allen some lessons in staying out of foul trouble.
