Mountain Music Show 1/8/13

At the beginning of each year I like to do a couple of shows that feature and review stuff from the previous year. This week's Mountain Music Show had an assortment of live music from 6 bands that we recorded out at the Old Virginia Smokehouse in Pearisburg in 2012 for our live music show the New River Valley Jamboree.

We started recording the Jamboree out there in November 2011 and the owner Chris Via recently announced that the Pearisburg location would be shutting down at the end of January. The Smokehouse has been the sponsor of the Mountain Music Show since it's inception, and Chris was the original host of the show.

The full sets (as well as some videos) for many of the NRV Jamboree shows are in the Archives/Podcasts section.
