This week we added a new locally-programmed music show called the Mountain Music Show from 2-3 PM on Tuesdays in order to get more old-time music into our mix (it replaced one of our syndicated bluegrass shows). This show will focus on traditional old-time music, though I'll be slipping in a few of my "not strictly traditional" favorites :-)

Some of you have probably noticed that there is more old-time & old country now showing up in our music selection. This was done to compliment our core bluegrass programming, rather than to replace it (there has always been some old-time & country in our syndicated shows). Bluegrass, old-time, & country all have rich traditions in this area, so we wanted to represent this in our music.

In addition to our football coverage, we've been covering a lot of high school basketball games live this season (as many as the weather rescheduling has permitted), & are currently broadcasting the playoff games live. We also plan to cover American Legion baseball live in the spring.

I want to get your thoughts on our plans, as well as your suggestions on what you'd like the station to do both from a music & community perspective.
