SUMMARY:2026 Henry Reed Memorial Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Henry Reed Memorial Celebration will be held at Larry’s Landing Campground in Narrows\, VA on June 11-13. This honors the life and music of local old-time fiddler Henry Reed. \nThis year the festival will have the same format as the previous 4 years\, but will be at a new location. It will be done as a weekend celebration and get-together rather than a formal fiddlers convention with featured bands and competitions. Larry’s Landing Campground is right along the New River where we can camp\, play music\, and share fellowship all weekend. \nThere is no fee for admission. The only fees are for camping (paid to the campground): $20 per night per spot. Tents can be right along the New River or in the other area off the river. Campers can only be in the area off the river\, but there’s lots of space for you to pick a spot under your favorite tree. There is a small bathhouse with 2 bathrooms and a shower. \nWe will be setting up on Thursday afternoon. Hope to see you there! \nLarry’s Landing Campground is located at 2491 State Route 649 (aka Lurich Road) in Narrows\, VA (right across from the baseball field).
