24th Annual Coal Miners Day Celebration

The Coal Mining Heritage Association of Montgomery County will hold the 24th Annual Coal Miners Day Celebration on Saturday May 20 at the McCoy Community Park 9 AM - 3 PM. There will be live music from Heaven Bound, Redeemers, Olen Gardner & Friends, American Roots (Fred & Jon Benfield), and the Appalachian Aftershock Clogging Group. There will also be Coal Mining Exhibits, a Classic Car Drive-In, Crafts and Demonstrations, a Silent Auction, and Food for purchase. Admission is free.

They are also looking for more folks to demonstrate crafts, and also vendors. For question on being a vendor, please call 540-552-3828, or email gwpalinkous@verizon.net.

No registration is required to participate in the Classic Car Drive-In.
