The 2026 Henry Reed Memorial Celebration will be held at Larry’s Landing Campground in Narrows, VA on June 11-13. This honors the life and music of local old-time fiddler Henry Reed.
This year the festival will have the same format as the previous 4 years, but will be at a new location. It will be done as a weekend celebration and get-together rather than a formal fiddlers convention with featured bands and competitions. Larry’s Landing Campground is right along the New River where we can camp, play music, and share fellowship all weekend.
There is no fee for admission. The only fees are for camping (paid to the campground): $20 per night per spot. Tents can be right along the New River or in the other area off the river. Campers can only be in the area off the river, but there’s lots of space for you to pick a spot under your favorite tree. Either way you’ll still have access to the bathhouse.
